The Protection Award recognizes individuals making extraordinary contributions to children so that they can live a life free from fear, abuse, and exploitation—including trafficking, slavery and sexual imposition. Battling these troubling global issues, our Honorees are giving children the support and care they need to repair long-lasting physical and psychological trauma by providing them with medical care, education, psychosocial support, vocational training, and most importantly, a safe and loving family environment.
