Richard Cusac is a private investor and retired business executive. His professional life has included several senior executive positions in both major corporate and smaller entrepreneurial business environments. He has worked and lived in nine countries in Asia, Europe and the Middle East over a span of eighteen years, garnering a broad range of unique personal and professional experiences.
Most recently Mr. Cusac was CEO and principal owner of Impact Telecommunications, Inc., a venture-funded telecom services company. Mr. Cusac has also held executive positions at Citibank, where he was chief executive officer at two of the bank’s top five overseas profit centers and Merrill Lynch where he was a London-based Managing Director for investment banking. He has also served as CEO of a large Kuwaiti bank and a private equity firm in London. He has been a director on over 30 private company boards and several non-profit organizations, including the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation.
In addition to his international business focus, Mr. Cusac has pursued educational interests, currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Drake University in Des Moines, where he was a Vice-Chairman for six years. He previously served Drake as a member of the National Advisory Board of the College of Business and Public Administration. He is also on the Advisory Board of The Learning Forum, a private company involved with the development and delivery of advanced learning and teaching skills.
Mr. Cusac is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Finance.
