Alex Yemenidjian is Chairman and CEO of Armenco Holdings, LLC. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana Las Vegas, Inc from 2005 to 2016. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. from 1999 to 2005. Mr. Yemenidjian also served as a director of MGM Resorts International, Inc. (“MGM”) (formerly MGM Grand Inc. and MGM Mirage Resorts, Inc.) from 1989 to 2005.
While at MGM, he served in numerous capacities, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He was instrumental with the design and development of MGM Grand Las Vegas, New York New York, and MGM Grand Detroit. Mr. Yemenidjian served as an executive of Tracinda Corporation, the majority owner of both Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and MGM.
Mr. Yemenidjian is a director of Regal Entertainment Group, the largest motion picture exhibitor in the world, a trustee of Baron Investment Funds Trust, a mutual fund, and a director of Guess?, Inc., a worldwide retailer of contemporary apparel
Mr. Yemenidjian has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University, Northridge, a Master’s degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California, and was Adjunct Professor of Taxation at the University of Southern California Graduate School of Business.
