From Irish Mirror
“Humanitarian Adi Roche did what she does best as she clutched her Pride of Ireland gong on Monday night – she thought of others.
The Chernobyl Children International founder dedicated her Lifetime Achievement Award to her “army of volunteers” that are the lifeblood of the organisation which has helped tens of thousands of children since the horrific nuclear disaster in 1986.
And as CCI celebrates its 30th birthday a delighted Adi said the award was the “icing on the cake”.”
