Spotlight helps law enforcement find more kids, faster and stop future abuse.  Law enforcement doesn’t have enough time to navigate the online commercial sex market to find children and identify their traffickers. Spotlight interrupts the cycle of abuse by equipping frontline responders with intelligence to identify juvenile victims and sex trafficking networks.

In 2014, Spotlight was simply a prototype application to aid in identifying child sex trafficking victims who were sold online. After initial success, a decision was made to develop the product itself and provide it free to law enforcement. This approach broke open a new model — one that moved beyond innovation to include productization and rapid scale, bypassing existing bureaucratic structures that often hamper access, data sharing, and collaboration.  The Spotlight team has deep technical knowledge and subject matter expertise to innovate and deploy new technology and data solutions – protecting children from sexual exploitation and safeguarding kids faster.

Spotlight is a free, world class application available to any law enforcement investigator working on human trafficking cases. 8,000 investigators rely on Spotlight to help reduce the time to discovering a juvenile sex trafficking victim to minutes.
