Heart Surgeon
United States, Global
J. Terrance Davis, M.D., has dedicated much of his life to providing cardiac care to children in need through volunteer efforts in the United States and in developing nations. As a cardiac surgeon in Columbus, Ohio, Davis has provided free heart surgery for children in need, conducted cardiac surgery training for physicians working in underprivileged nations, and personally donated much-needed medical supplies to cardiac care facilities throughout the world.
Davis spent many years operating a volunteer work program in Lima, Peru, where he performed surgeries and recruited hospital volunteers. Since he recently retired from active cardiac surgery, he has taken his final group to Peru. However, he is still dedicated to continuing his work on behalf of children in need.
