Originally from San Diego, Carol Sasaki saves children from the perils of sex slavery and trafficking. It is hard to fathom, but there are hundreds of thousands of children as young as five years old who are forced into a life of sexual assault and servitude. Carol Sasaki is one woman who will not stand for this, and her efforts have prevented thousands of orphans from suffering such a fate.
Ms. Sasaki receives no salary and her organization, International Humanity Foundation (IHF), is run entirely by volunteers. IHF provides shelter, food, clothing, medical care and education to save orphaned children in Kenya, Thailand and Indonesia.
