World of Children unlocks the future for vulnerable children by funding, elevating and educating the most effective changemakers worldwide.

We cannot thank or love our Heroes enough for their persistence and dedication to vulnerable children in the face of insurmountable challenges, especially during the Covid 19 global pandemic. 

Whether it be in Beirut, or in Myanmar, or at our own border, children living in fear and extreme poverty are the most vulnerable population in the world, and they are the victims of the unforeseen and unintended consequences of this pandemic.  With your support, World of Children was able to provide $648,000 of COVID-19 relief to 32 organizations, giving them the security and insurance needed to continue their services with confidence.  Your generosity enabled our World of Children Heroes to continue their life saving and empowering work with the thousands of children they serve.  THANK YOU! 

Global Reach

Approximately 25% of our Honorees are based in the United States. The remainder of work around the world in more than 50 different countries from Papua New Guinea and the Palestinian Territories to South Africa and South America.

Children Focused

We understand that issues impacting children can change drastically with world affairs. We fund changemakers improving the lives of vulnerable children addressing a range of issues, allowing us to respond to the greatest areas of need.

We employ a rigorous initial and follow-up investigation process. Every program has been investigated by one of the world’s leading security firms to ensure that they meet World of Children standards.

A child shouldn’t have to worry about the roof over their head or food on their plate. We support programs that are on the ground in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, South America and in the United States to save the lives of severely malnourished and homeless children.

For some children, the only thing standing in the way of going to school is a backpack full of supplies and a mandatory uniform. We fund programs that provide quality education, books and materials to both children in need and children who do not have access to or the opportunity to attend school.

Disabilities

Children who cannot walk, go to school, play with friends or lead an independent life because of their disability are often orphaned or abandoned because of their differences. We help to provide medical care, recovery, mobility and education so that these children have the opportunity to defy social stigmas and lead a fulfilled life.

The effects of bullying can attack a child’s well being. It can severely impact their mental health, drive them to substance abuse, and elevate the risk suicide.
