“The World of Children Hero Awards held at the posh Montage hotel in Beverly Hills honored the unsung heroes who inspire hope in the hearts of families around the world.
Brooke Burke-Charvet was the MC for the evening. “I feel like it’s our responsibility to take care of children. We have to. It’s just what we’re supposed to do,” she said. She introduced Caryl Stern, a powerful game changer and the president of Unicef.
Victoria’s Secret super model and celeb ambassador Lily Aldridge presented Arwa Damon the Crisis Award for her outstanding work which includes co-founding non-profit INARA. They provide access to life saving medical assistance to children impacted by war.”
