Celebrating 25 Years of Impact

We Change Children’s Lives and now, we are changing too.

Founded by Harry & Kay Leibowitz in 1998, World of Children has awarded more than $15 million to programs supporting vulnerable children, by 130 organizations working in over 70 countries, impacting the lives of millions of children.  These organizations are all small, local, high impact, extremely efficient, with outstanding leadership, and are otherwise unknown.  World of Children thrives on discovering these organizations, investigating their efficiency and impact, providing grants and other support to assist them in achieving their mission and to improve the lives of vulnerable children.

Now, in this 25th Anniversary Year, we are becoming a Global Community Foundation uniquely focused on the needs of vulnerable children. As a global community foundation, we will provide options for annual and legacy giving. Our leadership will assist in matching donor intent with the needs of children from around the world through our trusted partners community, guaranteeing impact. We will manage and distribute funds from donors for grants to impact partners using the proven community foundation business model.
