Nominations for 2015 Awards are Now Open!

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting Nominations for our 2015 Awards. Our Awards honor individuals who are making an extraordinary difference in the lives of vulnerable children around the world, regardless of political, religious or geographical boundaries. These courageous leaders recognize that children are the world’s most important asset.

Awards are available in four categories:

  • 2015 Education Award – Minimum Grant of $50,000. Recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to children in the field of education.
  • 2015 Humanitarian Award – Minimum Grant of $50,000. Recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to children in the fields of social services or humanitarian services.
  • 2015 Health Award – Minimum Grant of $50,000. Recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to children in the fields of health, medicine or the sciences.
  • 2015 Youth Award – Minimum Grant of $25,000. Recognizes an individual under the age of 21 who is making extraordinary contributions in the lives of other children.

Qualifications

Honorees must have a ten-year successful track record of working with children (three years for the Youth Award), and serve children over and above their regular employment, for little or no pay. (See Award Requirements).

Honorees must be available to attend the annual Awards Ceremony held in New York City, USA, on November 5, 2015. At that time, World of Children will offer Awards and cash grants to the proven, sustainable programs created and managed by the 2015 Honorees.
